Training on Time Management and Assertiveness Skills

Not  saying "no"   to  few  things  is also  one of the  time  wasters....    This need not have to  said  rudely  it can be  said  assertively!

In the month of Aug,   Our Chapter  members  had   trainings on Time management and Stress  management.  This was  handle  by  Shri  Jagadhis of JCI Silicon City and Shri  Suresha Kuppan of JCI  Bangalore Horizon.

Training on Stress Management

Our Chapter  members  wanted to  have  a training on Stress Management.

This  training was  arranged in the month of  August .   Shri Shivkumar of JCI  Viyapura, one of the  outstanding ZTWS 2014  participants,  delivered the  training  helping  members to understand the causes, effects and  methods of  managing  the   stress.

2nd Visit by EVP to Zone 14

JCI  India's Executive   Vice President Keshav Jain Sir  visited  Zone  14 in the month of Aug and was  hosted by  JCI Vijayapura  at Vijayapura

Empowering Youth

Empowering Youth  training to  students of Sai Shankar Vidyashala  at Sri Ramanahalli  was  conducted in the month of Aug

Blood Donation Camp

The  blood  donation camp  was  held  in the month of August  at People’s Trust  campus  by  JCI Bangalore  People’s Trust in  association with  Red  Cross Society and Lion’s Club.

Total number of registrations :  224.

Total number of  units of blood collected :  188

Nayaka - Leadership Program in Kannada

There  are  still  plenty of  us who spends  time and  effort to  attend  residential  training  programs.

150 Jaycees  from  Karnataka of Zone 14, 15 and 24  attended the leadership training called “Nayaka”  at  Hospet.

• Three days of  stay at a  very reputed resort “Vijayashree Green Resorts” close  to  Hampi,
• Three days of  tasty food
• Three  days of  excellent  training from 4  experienced  trainers…. 
•  The  entire  training in Kannda…

How  much  will this  cost?   

To  outsiders, it  would cost  more than  Rs30,000…

For JCI  India members,  it is possible  for  just Rs2500

NLTS - National Level Talent Search Exam

NLTS is  a   National Level Talent Search  Exam conducted by JCI India  for 10th,  1st and 2nd year PUC students .

This  kindles their  curiosity in  students to  take up this national level  exam.
The answer sheet is in OMR form  which will the  students  familiar with this OMR practice

JCI Bangalore People's Trust  participated in the JCI India  program by conducting  the NLTS tests for students of Sai Shankar Vidyashala,  PKB High School,   PKB PUC College and  BBMP Govt  PU College.

ABLE - Training for Business Leadership

One of the  excellent  training programs  from JCI India  for  enabling  the business  people to excel  in their  business.  
This  training  has  been  held  every  year in  two  centers in  India...  This  program has  touched many lives and propelled them  in business.  There are many many  success  stories.


Academy for Business and   Leadership  Excellence (ABLE).

Growth and Development Conference

Our Chapter  has  contributed  4  HGF  Scholarships.     We  also  attended  the G&D conference and received the recognition from  National President  NP Jc Sen  Dipak  Nahar  Jc Hairsh  Uthaiah  received the  Star member of the Chapter  award.

Month  of November,    JCI  India   shared the  details of  funds  contributions all over India.  

Zone 14 stands in  6th  position  with  a total  contribution of  
Rs 5,36,300/-

Request Donations for free distribution of medicated mosquito nets

Each  net  can  house  a  family of  4.

JCI  Bangalore People's Trust will collect  donations and  send   it JCI  NHQ in mumbai  for the  supply of nets.

These  nets are planned to  begiven to Anganwadi  Schools and needy  people  in the  villages  adopted by People's Trust.

R2R Meeting

Review  to  React Program was  hosted  by  JCI Suntikoppa  at  Mysore on 20 July 2014.

Chapter  presidents  presented their  activity report and   activity  plans  for the the future were also shared.

Zone officers  discussed and encouraged the chapters  to do  more  quality programs for the  benefit of the members as well as the community

Key note  speaker  Jc Sen  L Ramanathan  Sir  shared  his experiences of  how he  was  inspired to  many  quality programs as  a  chapter  President and  how he was  recognized  as  the  outstanding LOM president on that year  at NATCON.

Details  of  importance of sending monthly report to Zone and NHQ were also shared.

Details of 100%  efficiency  compliance and ZPRP  points were also shared

General Body Meeting - July

General  Body  Meeting  was  held  with  members  on 18 July  2014

Members  were  updated  about the MIDCON and the  recognitions and  awards  given to the chapter

Zone  Directory booklets were  distributed.   Dates for the  upcoming ID programs were  also  discussed

MIDCON

Middle of the year Zone level  conference "MIDCON"  was  hosted by JCI  Bangalore Silicon City at Bangalore on  Sunday 15 June  2014.  We  had  the  opportunity to  interact with  other  350+ JCI  members from other  chapters of  our zone XIV


Our Chapter  received  various  awards and  recognitions from  Zone President and Zone officers.
