Chairmanship And Parliamentarian Procedure - CAPP Training

In our  day to day life, every one  comes  across meetings; whether it is personal,  professional or  social  meeting ,  the  common expectation is discuss and take informed  decision on any given particular matter

In case of  family meetings,  the head of the family automatically  becomes a Chairman  as per our  Indian  culture,  every one else sticks to speaking only  when their turn comes so the meeting happen smoothly and effectively.

Yet, the office meetings, local body meetings,  parliamentary  meetings,  Welfare Association meetings, people of  difference  ages,  different back grounds come together..  If  a  common  protocol of how to conduct a meeting is NOT  adopted,  the  meetings  will  end up in chaos  resulting in everyone being unhappy  reluctant  to come for further  meetings.

JCI is  one of the  many organisations in the world  which  follows Chairmanship And Parliamentarian Procedure - CAPP which is in general based of "Robert's Rule of Order".

This is practiced from the local organisation meetings of  10 to 100 members   to National  level  general body meetings of 500-1000 LOM Presidents.

Do you want to  know  what is motion,  how to  frame it,  how to  discuss it,  how to get a conclusion,  how to go for  voting ,  what are the  different types of  voting,  can  you  ask  for a review of a matter already  voted,  what is  point of  order ????  ......

Every  JCI member  has  the opportunity to attend  our CAPP training  and  get clarity and  to become a responsible  citizen.

Our chapter  held  the CAPP  training in the month  of July 2015 and  JCI National  trainer Anuradha Jeyachander   trained our members  using  very  simple language and made it interesting and informative.
